Calgary, Canada – March 1st, 2011 – RAD3 Communications Inc. (RAD3), a communications intellectual property (IP) company, today announced the acquisition of the assets of Nextwave Semiconductor, a fully owned subsidiary of Nextwave Wireless Inc..
Rad3 has acquired the assets of Nextwave Semiconductor which consists of silicon proven WiMax reference designs including Media Access Control (MAC) and OFDMA Physical Layer (PHY) software and hardware, 3GPP LTE User Equipment (UE) Layer 1 software, test equipment and various other Intellectual Property (IP) Assets.
