Rad3’s wireless IP consists of state-of-the-art implementations of the physical layer (L1) for LTE, WiMAX, Wireless USB and other wireless standards.  We provide a range of products from a complete physical layer system design, implemented in C, to lower level modules in Verilog or VHDL for ASIC and FPGA targets. Rad3’s wireless products target:

• Software Defined Radio: Our SDR products are targetable to platforms ranging from DSP to multi-processor arrays and  provide flexible carrier class solutions for your applications.

• ASIC/FPGA:  Highly optimized physical layer implementations of various wireless standards delivered in RTL (VHDL or Verilog)

• Forward Error Correction Modules:  High-speed, low-power Viterbi & Reed-Solomon decoders targeted to multiple wireless standards.  The decoders are silicon proven and in-production in numerous products world-wide.  Watch here for upcoming additions to our FEC product line.

• FFT/IFFT Modules:  Rad3’s silicon-proven FFT/IFFT cores utilize patented technology to produce optimized designs for OFDM modems or other applications requiring high-speed FFT processing. Our cores are highly verified and field-proven in products ranging from WLAN, WiMax, Wireless USB and other applications.
